On May 22, 2025, as part of the international UkraineDigiTrans project aimed at the digital transformation of medical education in Ukraine, a training session was held for university instructors on the topic "Interactive Digital Tools in Teaching." The presentation and workshop were conducted by Halyna Humenna, Acting Head of the Center for Digital Education and Head of the Laboratory of Innovation in Digital Education.
During the session, participants were introduced to modern digital tools that enhance student engagement, improve communication, and foster an interactive learning environment. The focus was on platforms such as Mentimeter, Slido, Padlet, Miro, Microsoft/Google Forms, and Genially. The speaker not only outlined the advantages and features of each tool but also demonstrated their practical use.
A key highlight of the event was the active participation of the instructors: they collaborated on the Miro board, took part in interactive polls using Mentimeter and Slido, provided feedback, and shared their personal experiences. The training concluded with a "digital escape room" game created in Genially, showcasing a gamified approach to knowledge assessment and content review.
The event underscored the importance of interactive teaching formats and served as an inspiration for further integration of innovative digital practices into the educational process.
